To the maximum extent permitted by law: Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to your use of MotionValidator, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

MotionValidator is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Citational Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of MotionValidator, your violation of these Terms, any filing you make with any court, or any sanctions/discipline arising from your use of the service.
MotionValidator is available only to licensed attorneys in the US and associated legal organizations, and other professionals who require validation of legal documents in a US (state or federal) legal setting. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to use MotionValidator for unlawful purposes, attempt to reverse engineer the service, use automated scraping tools, or share your account credentials with others.
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms and pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
All refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
MotionValidator software, designs, and content are owned by Citational Limited. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our service.
You retain all rights to documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to process and store your documents solely to provide the service. This license terminates when your documents are deleted (automatically after 7 days or manually by you).
Your use of MotionValidator is subject to our Privacy Policy. Key protections include: no AI training on your documents, 7-day auto-deletion, and US-only storage.
While we implement robust security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for incidents beyond our reasonable control. For details, see our Security & Trust page.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of New York.
Arbitration: You agree to binding arbitration in New York, NY, in accordance with AAA rules. You waive your right to participate in class actions.
